You have to be careful, especially with some small vanity # vendors

I’ve seen a lot of crap over the years in this crazy business, but I try to be flexible and work with everyone. I think it’s important to have an independent open system to help customers see everything, and all the numbers that are even remotely possible. I work with some vendors that release numbers and some that never do. I try to provide the customer information to most, just providing an introduction and letting you deal directly with them, but in some cases I can’t do that.

Unfortunately there are some people that take advantage of people so much that I can’t work with them even at arm’s length though. I try not to never call people names and don’t use social media, or want to bad mouth anyone. But referring people to a website can be seen as approving of them and can make customers less leery of someone than they would otherwise be.

I may be the only one that follows the rule my mother taught me, that if I don’t have anything good to say about someone, I shouldn’t say anything at all, especially on the internet. Everyone seems to love trashing people on the internet, but you won’t find that here.

The only thing I’ll say is that if I’m not working with someone in the vanity number business or linking to their website, it’s probably for a good reason. This is especially true of small vanity number vendors that aren’t resporgs. This is such a small niche business that people can get away with a lot. I’m not the phone number police, but if you have any problems with anyone I refer you to, I’m really sorry but please let me know.
